Working with Amy at Project 12 architecture, to develop a brief for a major renovation of a beautiful terrace in North Carlton. This project resulted in a very modern courtyard oasis for the family who live in this house. The use of interesting textures and finishes was done to create an earthy organic feel that blurs the harsh edges of the house. It was important in this project to add fringes of green in all possible areas to utilise minimal space but achieve maximum Impact. For the front garden, a traditional approach was taken to suit the Victorian façade and existing beautiful magnolia tree
