Bayswater Road

The design for this newly renovated Victorian cottage incorporated many aspects of a grander garden into a small space.

The front garden was formalised, the former property-length driveway was shortened to allow more garden, and attention was paid to ensuring views to surrounding properties were screened and made more appealing. Small tracts of lawn were included, and on-site materials were reused to make garden walls.

An edible garden was incorporated to produce fresh vegetables and herbs for the family. The result is a garden with layers of flowering botanicals that responds to the change of seasons with rewarding colour displays.
