Public & Commercial Space
Annabelle Drew has worked in the public realm for much of her career.
At the start of her career, she worked for six years at the Department of Conservation and Land Management in Western Australia. Here she designed landscapes for national and regional parks. For Yanchep National Park, her role was to implement the Master Plan, which involved detailed design for the Park, including the visitor centre, picnic areas, Wildflower Gardens and bushland trail system. She then managed the contracts for the implementation of these works.
Also for CALM Annabelle prepared many landscape plans and managed consultation contracts for Perth’s eleven Regional Parks.
Her 7 years at Wyndham City Council in Victoria saw her involved in the development of public open space, interact with developers in this fast-growing municipality and eventually taking the role of street tree planner.
