ECMS, the client, were seeking an imaginative landscape for their kindergarten that provided children with a natural learning environment. The garden should be multi-faceted garden for the children to explore and allow children to learn through curiosity. The play-based approach nurtures development.

ADLA worked with the client to produce a concept sketch plan to allow ECMS to seek funds and on which the final design was based.

The outdoor learning environment offers many natural features - dry creek bed, rock sand-pit, an edible garden, a forest area and plenty of shade through trees and shade sales.
