Beresford Avenue

This is an award winning garden beautifully executed by sand and stone landscapes in Sydney. the clients brief was to provide an inviting path from the front to the new front door with the style being classic in keeping with the older features of the house. For the back garden, the client decided to get remove the lawn and reduce maintenance creating a low care garden, but the key aspect of the back garden was to provide separate garden spaces; an outdoor dining area, and outdoor lounge area and a fire pit for drinks. The sunken area for the fire pit used the natural slope of the land in addition to sandstone steps which were built to create a pleasant entry from the higher deck level down to the firepit area. The clients report that they use the fire pit regularly and enjoy the intimacy of the new sunken area.
